What the extension handles
Mola reads whether your computer is active, idle, or locked through Chrome’s idle API. It stores your reminder preferences, work schedule, timer state and timestamps, estimated active duration, and the number of movement breaks you confirm.
It does not read keystrokes, application names, browsing history, page content, personal communications, passwords, location, or payment information. It does not measure posture, sitting, movement, or health information.
Why this information is used
Activity status helps estimate active time, pause accumulation during inactivity, and reset the work timer after a longer absence. Your settings determine when reminders appear. Daily summaries show your estimated active time and confirmed breaks.
Where it stays and how long
All extension data is stored locally using Chrome extension storage. It is not synced by Mola to other devices. Daily summaries are limited to the current day and the preceding 29 calendar days; older entries are removed the next time the extension processes activity. Settings and the current timer state remain until the extension is uninstalled.
Local storage relies on your browser and device protections. Anyone with access to your device and browser profile may be able to access this information. Mola does not add its own encryption.
No selling, sharing, or analytics
The extension has no backend, analytics, advertising, or external network requests. We do not receive, sell, or share its activity information. No account is required to use the extension.
Mola’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your choices
You can change reminder settings, restrict work hours, or pause tracking in the extension. Uninstall Mola through Chrome’s extensions page to remove its locally stored data. Reinstalling starts with default settings.

This page is separate from the extension. Visiting it sends normal web request information, such as your IP address and browser information, to the hosting infrastructure needed to deliver the page. We have not added analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies to this page. No extension activity data is sent to this website.
